"Whoa." Blu Ray review
I will briefly discuss the movies, although you must be from a third world country if you don't know about The Matrix! It is about a future time where once man was dependent on machines, they are dependent on man. The Matrix is a virtual world where humans believe they live out their lives normally, but in reality they are grown and kept to serve as power for the machines. Confusing? It gets worse! The films make you think and not just drool at the screen with the awesome fights and special effects (by far some of the greatest in modern film making). The movies have some moments where it takes itself far too seriously (especially REVOLUTIONS). All in all these are great because of interesting storytelling, mind-blowing effects and excellent casting. I would like to add that the role of Neo is perfect for Keanu's acting style (which is highlighted by his inability to convey real emotion on screen).
NOW FOR MY BLU RAY THOUGHTS: "WHOA!" That should sum it up. Amazing picture and details. I love how beautiful the green hue comes out when the scenes are set in the matrix! The sound is awesome. The extras are copius and all have been carried over! FINAL THOUGHTS: TAKE THE RED PILL AND FIND OUT JUST HOW FAR THE RABBIT HOLE GOES! UPGRADE!!!
P.S. Carrie-Anne Moss looks so good in latex and Monica Bellucci is HOT AS HELL!

The Best Audio!!
For the first time, I experienced the real meaning of Dolby TrueHD. And now I can say: WHOW!!! Totally ifferent from DVD, of course, and one of the best I've ever seen.
Matrix = Success
My favorite trilogy of movies. The Matrix after years is still king of a great fictional story line made into the modern world of man kind and machine.
Wonderful buy for any fan!
I have to start off by saying that I was a fan of all 3 movies. I enjoyed and understood all 3 of them fully. Although the impact of the 3rd film took me a few days to wade through. Oddly enough, I was not a fan of the Animatrix movie until I sat down and watched it all the way through. It did help to fill in some of the gaps from the movies and add a bit more to the back stories. Although parts of this movie are much more about the computer graphics than others, all in all I thought it was well done, and the ending makes sense if you approach it from a mathematical view, which I think some people have a hard time grasping.
In the second movie, the "Architect" tells Neo he is the remainder of an unbalanced equation. The way I see it is that over time this remainder grows in size and strength (due to the equation being and incomplete one). And in order to then balance out that equation (and cancel out the remainder), the agent Smiths are brought back since they somehow were affected (or possibly even infected) by the remainder(Neo). This is where the end kind of adds up (no pun intended). Neo then realizes that he is part of this equation, and can never really defeat the Smiths as no matter how powerful he becomes, they will balance him out. So in the end, his sacrifice for Zion, (that also helps out the machines because it saves them from being taken over by the Smiths, or Smith infection) creates peace between the real world humans and machines. This also sets the equation back into its balance by canceling out Neo, the Smiths loose all their power and cease to be. Once I understood this, it gave the movies a whole new meaning, and really made sense.
Oh and by the way, I have watched them all now as it was a gift, and they look incredible on blu ray. There are some scenes in the first movie where you can tell is a bit fake looking, but it is a vast improvement from regular dvd. And if you are not noticing a huge difference from this and the dvd, please check your set up. You must have done something wrong. I would definitely say this is a 5 star boxed set of a great movie trilogy. Hope you enjoy the review.

Decent price
Well what can I say... I like the movie the first time around.
I was expecting some better quality on the picture but I guess since it was not filmed with HD (BluRay) cams I was expecting too much
Overall made for a good replacement for original Matrix. BTW I used a Samsung Player and a Mitsubishi 73" HD DLP for playback
